Aircraft Carrying Pete Hegseth Forced to Touch Down in UK Because of Fracture in Windshield
A plane ferrying Pete Hegseth was required to make an unscheduled landing in the United Kingdom on Wednesday after a crack was identified in the aircraft's cockpit window, according to an official announcement which stated that Hegseth was safe.
"The plane landed based on established safety measures and everyone onboard, among them Pete Hegseth, is secure," a press officer stated in a online announcement.
He was traveling back from a short visit to Brussels when the incident occurred.
This incident isn't the first time that a United States armed forces jet transporting a top government figure has experienced mechanical issues.
Earlier this year, a American military jet transporting Marco Rubio to the German city of Munich was forced to return to Washington DC after suffering a mechanical problem.
