Approximately Ninety Flights Associated to Jeffrey Epstein Allegedly Came to or from British Airfields

A review has identified that close to 90 aircraft journeys linked to the late financier Jeffrey Epstein reportedly landed at and took off from British airports, with some allegedly transporting British women who claim they were exploited by the convicted child sex offender.

Aviation Records Reveal Trail of Movement

These aviation records were part of thousands of court documents and files released by the estate of Jeffrey Epstein that have been disclosed over the previous twelve months. The analysis found 87 aircraft movements linked to Epstein – encompassing many that were not previously known – coming into or leaving from British airfields between the early 1990s and 2018.

Onboard Individuals and After Guilty Verdict Flights

Unnamed women were documented among the individuals flying to and from the UK. Notably, 15 of these flights involving the UK occurred subsequent to Epstein’s 2008 guilty verdict for soliciting sex from a minor.

“It was ‘appalling’ that there had never been a ‘comprehensive British inquiry’ into his operations in the country,” said American attorneys representing hundreds of Epstein survivors.

British Victims and Legal Proceedings

A statement from one of the UK-based survivors was instrumental in convicting Epstein’s associate socialite Ghislaine Maxwell of child sex-trafficking in the US in 2021. However, that individual has never been contacted by British law enforcement, as stated by her attorney based in Florida.

In a response, the the Met said they had “not received any additional information that would support restarting the investigation.” They added, “Should fresh and pertinent information be presented to us, including any arising from the disclosure of documents in the US, we will assess it.”

Continuing Disclosure and Legal Rulings

A bill to disclose all files held by the US government in concerning Epstein passed the US Congress last month. The Department of Justice has until 19 December to adhere to this requirement. Hundreds of thousands of papers are anticipated to be made public.

Additionally, a US judge decided last week that the department could disclose case files from a trafficking prosecution against Maxwell, Epstein’s longtime confidante, who is currently serving a 20-year jail term over the allegations.
