Trump's Granddaughter Seeks Expert Advice from Tiger Woods Prior to LPGA First Appearance
This young athlete maintains considerable social media presence
The young golfer will have multiple high-profile backers as she begins her LPGA debut this Thursday.
This teenage golfer, who is related to a former US president, received a sponsor's invitation to participate at the Annika competition in Florida.
Her grandfather, a passionate golfer, possesses several international courses and often matches against Kai.
"He's fairly competent. I can't reveal details but we have competitive games," she stated.
She mentioned that Trump, who cannot attend, advised her: "Simply don't get nervous."
"My grandpa basically suggested to go out there and relax," she explained.
"From my perspective, he's just a normal grandpa. He can't make it for the tournament. He's busy with running the country, making him quite busy."
While still amateur, Kai has played in a mere three competitions this year and maintains position 461 in AJGA listings.
Yet she can seek guidance from Tiger Woods, in a relationship with Vanessa.
"He represents the top athlete worldwide," Kai stated.
"Furthermore, he's a superior person. He advised me to compete, have fun, and go with the flow."
The golfer will compete against several the biggest names in women's golf at the competition, including world number two the champion, England's Charley Hull, Lexi Thompson and 2023 champion Lilia Vu.
Tournament organizers commented that her participation helps introduce the sport to new audiences, particularly reaching youth audiences.
Kai has substantial online presence and just introduced an exclusive fashion and living brand.
Her first tee time at late afternoon GMT.
